Congratulations on completing your manuscript!

You've accomplished such a huge achievement. 

As a fellow author, I understand how hard it can be to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and finally write that story and actually finish it. You should be so proud!  

Now that you've finished writing your book here comes the next part. Editing. Specifically, structural editing. 

A structural edit is an investment to your craft whether you're looking to self-publish or whether you're looking to pitch to agents and publishers. Even though writing is subjective, having a story that isn't structurally sound is one of the main reasons why an agent or a publisher will pass on a manuscript, or why a reader won't finish reading a self-published book. 

If you've read your manuscript and felt that something wasn't quite right with it, or if you've had unhelpful feedback from beta readers that can't identify why your story isn't working, then I can help you. 

My tertiary qualifications and experience as an author and editor have given me the skills to structurally edit your book to be the best that it can be. I will coach you through sensitive in-line feedback and will provide examples on how to fix any major structural issues. I will also provide an editorial letter that will appraise the strengths and weaknesses of your story in these major areas:

Prices

Short works up to 60,000 words are capped at $925 AUD.

Works that are 61,000 - 90,000 words are capped at $1200 AUD.

The lead time can be up to 3 weeks, depending on the needs of the manuscript.
